BETA RELEASE  b.4

New places. New adventures.

The airfield.guide is a repository for information about out-of-the-way airports and places that most pilots don't know about. If you're interested in recreational aviation and backcountry flying, you've come to the right place. We built this site because there's a lot of knowledge about airfields that's not available to the public. We want to change that.

This is the Beta release of the Airfield.Guide, which means it's a pre-release. You've found this site because you were directed here or because you happened to stumble across it. Either way, we hope you'll take a few minutes and look it over then drop us an email and give us some feedback.

Here are a few key points about the current state of the site:
  • We developed this site out of passion for flying. There is no charge for using it and no charge for registering an account. This is not a money making venutre, it's a passion project.
  • Your information is not sold, rented, loaned, or otherwise provided to anyone outside of this site. Period.
  • The geographic area is small, at least to start with. If the site proves to be valuable here we are prepared to roll it out for more regions of the country.
  • We know, this should be a mobile app. We hope it will be at some point.
  • We know, we need to have some instructional videos to explain all the icons and cool features. Working on it.
  • We're still testing, adding features, and creating content... so don't be surprised if things aren't completely accurate or if they change.
  • Give it a try and let us know what you think. The drop down menu has a "Contact Us" link.
