Notes: This airfield is only 3 miles from Chrystal Bridges Museum. Although there are obstacles on either end, it's easily long enough for most aircraft. The approach to runway 10 has a gap cut in the trees near the end of the runway if the pilot is willing to make an abrupt low level turn.
Bring your own tie downs. The Louise Thaden/Bentonville Airport is located just 4nm to the south west. Maintenance, fuel and courtesy cars are available there. Sugar Creek is used for flight school training on a regular basis, so be especially alert when on the runway. Sugar Creek lays partially inside Rogers/Carter Field (KROG) Class D airspace. Through an agreement with the Rogers tower we have permission to enter and exit the pattern at Sugar Creek from the west without making radio contact with the tower.
